Concert to help music programs


WALLA WALLA -- Tickets purchased for the Ziggy Marley concert to be held at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds this summer will benefit local school music programs.

Marley, a five-time Grammy-winning artist and son of the late musician Bob Marley, is slated to perform July 21.

Walla Walla High School student Campbell Davis and Company are the opening act, according to a news release.

Through June 10, $5 of each ticket sold will go to support the Walla Walla Public Schools Music Department.

Locally, tickets can be purchased at the Walla Walla Village Winery, 107 S. Third Ave., or the Walla Walla Visitors Center Window, 26 E. Main St.
