YAKIMA - Adna took advantage of a three-error Waitsburg-Prescott third inning to score four runs and went on to post a 10-0 victory over W-P Friday at the WIAA Class 2B playoffs at Yakima's Gateway Sports Complex.
Pirates pitcher Alexis Moerke struck out four in four innings as she helped limit W-P to just three runs.
Adna started the scoring with an Alexa Bond RBI single in the first.
Adna (16-6) advances to face Dayton in the second round of the playoffs tonight at 7.
Waitsburg-Prescott (15-6) plays Warden, loser to Dayton, 1-0, in its first-round game, at 5 p.m.
