WALLA WALLA -- Legacy Auto Group, the company that owns Walla Walla's Ford dealership, is expanding with the acquisition of Frontier Motors, Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep in La Grande.
Operators say the acquisition, which brings the number of Legacy dealerships to four, makes the company the largest auto group for parts, service and sales in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon.
In addition to Quick Lane and Legacy Sales of Walla Walla, the portfolio includes Legacy Ford of Tri-Cities in Pasco and Legacy Ford Lincoln in La Grande.
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed in the announcement from Legacy.
In a prepared statement, Legacy co-owner Tony Grover said the expansion will mean a larger selection of inventory to customers.
"The auto industry is experiencing significant growth and we are excited to expand the Legacy brand with this new acquisition," he said.
