- Hannah M. Ureno, 23, 641 County Road No. 448, was charged May 24 with five counts of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon. Ureno is accused of unlawfully delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school bus route stop May 18, unlawfully possessing methamphetamine with the intent to deliver it May 23, unlawfully possessing oxycodone with the intent to deliver it May 23, unlawfully possessing marijuana with the intent to deliver it May 23, using drug paraphernalia May 23, and possessing a weapon usually known as brass knuckles May 23.
- Philip K. Niedermeyer, 48, 739 Wallula Ave., was charged May 25 with intimidating a public servant, harassment, fourth-degree assault, and resisting arrest. Niedermeyer is accused of using a threat to attempt to influence a Walla Walla County sheriff's sergeant, knowingly and unlawfully threatening to kill the sergeant, assaulting a person, and intentionally preventing or attempting to prevent peace officers from lawfully arresting him on May 24.
