WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival will present its opening "Sounds Like Fun!" children's concert of the 2012 season with a performance titled "Construction Site: How To Build a Piece of Chamber Music" on June 7 at 4:30 p.m. at DeSales Catholic High School, 919 E. Sumach St.
The concert is free and open to all. The one-hour presentation will feature saxophone, clarinet and strings in music by Mozart, Beethoven and other composers.
Festival musicians will show how composers and performers work together to turn sonic chaos into beautiful music. A composer will be on hand to blueprint the process, organizers said.
