Donna Brown, Milton-Freewater, passed away May 28, 2012, at her home
at the age of 69 years. Funeral services will be Friday, June 1, at 11 a.m. at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home in Milton-Freewater with Jim Lamberton officiating. Concluding services and interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in College Place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walla Walla Community Hospice through the funeral home.
Donna was born Oct. 31, 1942, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Lindell and Vergie Bunch Broadfoot. She lived in Low Wassie, Mo., for five years before moving with her family, living most of her life in Oregon and Washington. Donna attended and graduated from Walla Walla Valley Academy and then attended Walla Walla College. In 1969 she married Arthur Schoeder and the couple had two children. The couple were later divorced. Donna worked as an executive assistant and estimator in the construction business in Spokane and Seattle. In 1996 she married Rual Brown. They were later divorced. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, being a soccer mom, genealogy and her family.
She is survived by a son, Kevin Schroeder of Spokane; a daughter, Korinn Schroeder of Tacoma; three sisters, Linda Walcker of Milton-Freewater, Judy Lamberton of Brewster, Wash., and Joan Broadfoot of Ashland, Ore.; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Broadfoot.
