SPOKANE — Gonzaga University will pay tribute to fallen soldier and 2010 alumnus Mat Fazzari, a Walla Walla native and DeSales grad who was killed in Afghanistan on June 6.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Nov. 12 in the University Chapel. A reception will follow in Magnuson Theatre.
A 5-kilometer “Run for Fuzz” is planned at 6 a.m. that morning starting at the Rudolf Fitness Center. The public is welcome at both events.
