COLFAX — Pomeroy’s volleyball team lost a district first-round match with Garfield-Palouse here Wednesday.
The Vikings won the match 25-14, 25-22, 25-22.
The defeat pits the Pirates against St. John-Endicott in a loser-out match at 2 p.m. Saturday, also in Colfax.
The winner of that match plays again at 6:30 p.m. for the third seed to the state tournament.
