Downtown Walla Walla's paper and home goods store is getting a start on the holiday merriment this weekend.
Sweetwater Paper and Home, 101 E. Alder St., will hold its annual open house Sunday. The event runs noon to 4 p.m. and features its holiday selection of ornaments, linens, boxed Christmas cards, paper tableware, home accessories, candles, books and treats to sample. A goodie bag will be handed out with each purchase. For more details, call 522-8222.
