Cheatgrass expert to talk about invasive species


WALLA WALLA — Richard Mack, a leading expert on cheatgrass, will discuss biology, management and societal costs of invasive species at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Room 130, Olin Building, at Whitman College.

Cheatgrass is the most widely distributed and loathed invasive plant in the West. Mack has been called upon by policymakers and managers worldwide for his advice and testimony on the plant.
