EUGENE — Weston-McEwen’s Elizabeth Herbes ran to a 21st place finish here Saturday at Lane Community College in 3A/2A/1A State girls cross country action.
The TigerScot freshman turned in a 21-minute, 10-second run over the 5,000 meter course
Union claimed the team title with a score of 60 and took home the top two individual finishes.
Katriel O’Reilly won the race in 19:16 and her Union teammate, McKenzie Evans finished second in 19:33.
Herbes competed against 104 runners and came home less than two minutes off the championship pace.
