McCabe easily wins reelection in Garfield County


Garfield County Commissioner Wynne McCabe has won reelection to a second term in Position 2. On Tuesday, he received 793 votes, or nearly 69 percent. Challenger David Ledgerwood received 360 votes.

McCabe is owner of Garfield County Title Company in Pomeroy. He also owns Columbia County Title Company in Dayton.

For Position 1, Garfield County Commissioner Robert Johnson was reelected after running unopposed.

Also in Garfield County, Assessor Laura Smith ran unopposed for reelection and will complete an unexpired term in that position.
