  • 800 block of Preston Avenue, Waitsburg, Monday-Thursday. Two storage lockers broken into and $440 in liquor taken.

MF Police

  • 500 block of Northeast Eighth Avenue, Thursday. Various tools taken from pickup.

Arrests

  • Tabitha Jaylean Shearer, 22, 204 N. Spokane St. Charge: investigation of fugitive from justice.

MF Police

  • Jason Andrew Stewart, 30, city resident. Charge: investigation of Umatilla County warrant.

Vandalism

WW Police

  • Pastime Cafe building, 215 W. Main St., and other surrounding buildings. Various gang related graffiti.

WW County Sheriff

  • Electric Avenue near Myra Road, Tuesday 11:30 p.m. Mail boxes knocked over.

MF Police

  • Municipal golf course, 301 Catherine Ave., Thursday. Four juveniles tearing up course.

Updates

Elias Hegdal, 30, of Athena was reported in critical condition today at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Hegdal was injured Wednesday evening on Highway 11 south of Milton-Freewater when a deer struck his vehicle and it partially crashed through his windshield, striking him.
