MILTON-FREEWATER — Police seized a number of items linked to October burglaries at the Milton-Freewater Golf Course Pro Shop and Shelly’s Last Shot restaurant in a raid this morning.
At roughly 8 a.m., officers served a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Poplar Street in Milton-Freewater, according to a news release issued by Chief Doug Boedigheimer.
“Officers located and seized stolen property associated with both burglarized locations, as well as other property purported to be stolen,” Boedigheimer said in the release, adding a juvenile in the residence was linked to the burglaries.
Boedigheimer said the youth was not arrested, but could face charges from the Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office.
Boedigheimer also said the investigation is still under way, and some of the property reported stolen has not been located yet.
