Ring Praise to play handbells, piano, at Grace Presbyterian

MILTON-FREEWATER — A blend of bronze handbells and piano will resound at a Ring Praise concert at 7 p.m. Monday at Grace Presbyterian Church, 703 S. Main St.

Phyllis Tincher and Sean Rogers of Nampa, Idaho, will perform songs focuse on praising God. Tincher rings three octaves of handbells, mixing in two octaves of handchimes, and Rogers plays piano and organ.

Through contemporary gospel music, hymns and more, they tell the saving story of Jesus Christ.

During the concert the audience will have an opportunity to ring handchimes as everyone sings. No music experience is needed.

Tincher and Rogers have made four CDs together, which will be available for $15 each.

“Ring Praise,” “Ring Praise 2” and Ring Praise 3” are collections of hymn arrangements. “Come to the Manger” celebrates Christmas. All proceeds help fund Ring Praise Music Ministry.

Abundant Life Tabernacle plans revival meetings

WALLA WALLA — Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1625 E. Alder St., will host three nights of revival meetings with California evangelist, the Rev. Tim Whisnet. The services will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.

All services will be translated into Spanish.
