Average gasoline prices continue to drop
The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.52 and in Oregon it is $3.53.
For Washington, that's down 6 cents in a week, 50 since in a month, and it's 20 cents lower than a year ago. It's 10 cents higher than the national average.
In Oregon, it’s down 8 cents in a week, 48 cents in a month, and it’s 14 cents lower than a year ago. It’s 11 cents higher than the national average.
Some metro prices from the AAA's survey: Bellingham $3.57, Bremerton $3.45, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $3.54, Tacoma $3.42, Olympia $3.44, Vancouver $3.48, Yakima $3.55, Tri-Cities $3.65, Spokane $3.59, Portland $3.50, Salem $3.52, Eugene-Springfield $3.53, and Medford-Ashland $3.52.
