Dixie School District board members are Javin Berg, Richard Berrier, Kelly Dabulskis, Judy Skillings and Gene Wilks. With all present Monday, the board:
Reports: Heard reports from superintendent and business manager.
Policy Updates: Approved motion to move observations discussion to executive session. Approve motion to research and update policy on head lice. Both unanimous.
Gym: Approved motion to table action on new gym heating plan to wait for bids on new heat pump and look into grant options. Unanimous.
Absences: Approved new procedure for excused/unexcused absences. Unanimous.
Staffing: Approved new employee contract. Also approved motion to update policy on workers compensation. Both unanimous.
Board Positions: Approved nominations of Wilks as board chair and Barrier as vice chair for next term. Unanimous.
Executive Session: Entered into executive session to discuss school improvements.
