Walla Walla Gun Club has changed its online contact information from .org to .com, making the website wallawallagunclub.com and email firstname.lastname@example.org, said member Bob Bloch.
The club also made a change to is Buckle Shoot program, which will be Dec. 8.
“In the past, WWGC has always supplied the shells to all shooters. This has raised the cost to shoot, and may be responsible for keeping a few shooters away that might otherwise come if they could bring their own ammo,” Bob said.
“Therefore, for the Buckle Shoot we will no longer provide ammo for shooters and there will be a corresponding reduction in the cost of the shoot to more reasonably approach that of a normal turkey shoot.”
The club’s turkey shoot on Nov. 17 was a success. Winners received 12- to 15-pound birds and lucky winning students from Walla Walla Community and Whitman colleges and Walla Walla University could take Bob up on his offer to barbecue the birds for them.
