27th Hometown Christmas Sunday


WAITSBURG — Waitsburg’s 27th annual Hometown Christmas starts at noon Sunday in Town Hall on Main Street.

A Christmas Bazaar will run until 4 p.m. with vendors and craft sellers.

Community members will provide entertainment there throughout the afternoon.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will hear children’s Christmas gift wishes and pictures can be taken with Santa at the Plaza Theater on Main Street.

Throughout the community, businesses will have Christmas specials and festivities.

Waitsburg and Dayton businesses have donated door prizes that will be drawn at 4 p.m. and awarded to customers who have patronized Waitsburg businesses during the last month.

Customers must be present to win.

Free movies will be shown at the Waitsburg Plaza from noon-5 p.m. Screenings of “Santa Clause I, II and III” are sponsored by Hubbard Law Office PC.

The lighted Christmas parade will start down Main Street at 5 p.m. and will be followed by the traditional chili feed at Town Hall.
