The team:

“It (practice) is not too bad as about one half of the varsity is practicing (with the late football postseason run). You want the kids to be winners, and that is what they are (with their football success).”

“Dalton will probably be our point guard. Stirling will probably be our starting shooting guard.

“We’re going man-to-man (defense) as much as possible. We will press a lot. We’re going to be really fast as we run three or four guards at a time, because that’s what we have. We’ll run a lot of fastbreak offense.

“We should have a strong 3-point shooting team. Stirling, Dalton and Seth Dial are solid 3-point shooters. They will be big contributors.

“The kids are strong, but we’ll have to fight for position a little more. We’ll take advantage of our speed and strength.

“We have a real good, positive senior class. We have a talented sophomore class behind them. Every day the kids want to work to get better.”
