Sears' grand opening set for Friday at noon

The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce plans to give the new Sears Home Town Store a warm welcome Friday.

The Chamber will host a ribbon-cutting at noon at the store, 207 E. Main St. A light lunch will be provided.

The store, owned by Scott Hester, opened Nov. 15, marking a return of the Sears presence after its closure earlier this year on Rose Street.
