WAITSBURG — Waitsburg rings in the Christmas season Sunday with its annual community celebration at Ye Town Hall on Main Street. “Hometown Christmas” features a daylong lineup of activities for all ages.

Craft and food vendors will sell their wares at the Christmas bazaar from noon to 4 p.m. Free entertainment and treats will be provided throughout the afternoon.

Kids can have their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus across the street at the Plaza Theater from 2-4 p.m. Each child will receive a free Christmas goody bag.

Door prizes will be given away at 4 p.m. to customers who have patronized local businesses during the past month. Winners must be present. Prizes have been donated by Waitsburg, and Dayton area businesses.

Waitsburg’s lighted parade travels down Main Street beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday. Participants will gather at the north end of Main Street near the Touchet River bridge.

After the parade, the traditional chili feed will be held at Ye Towne Hall.
