Anger in America will continue to increase

Someone wrote, “Congratulations, Americans! Give yourself a pat on the back for showing the world the power of the people and strength of our democratic voting process!”

Yeah, right. Obama won by under 4 million votes in a country of 314 million people (including 230 million of voting age). Our county voted for Romney/Ryan (58.3 percent to 38.9 percent) as did most. Look at the red/blue county map on the Internet at bit.ly/ZcsRQo to confirm. Obama has no countrywide mandate. Soon it will become clear that America lost this election.

It’s said that a democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government, lasting only until the voting majority discovers they can vote themselves money from the government (actually, from other taxpayers). From then on, they always vote for candidates promising the most benefits and money, resulting with a collapsed democracy and dictatorship. Sure, we have a constitutional republic, not a pure democracy, but sadly our Constitution is being ignored by unscrupulous politicians buying votes.

I turned off the TV and lowered my flag to half staff when Obama reached 275 electoral votes. Those congratulating themselves over his re-election should enjoy their victory while they can — our economy can’t survive another four years of Obama’s regime.

A U-B Perspective article, (Obama’s Second Act) stated that “a second-term president is a lame duck from election day on.”

True, but this “lame duck” is dangerous. He can now be “more flexible” to satisfy Russia’s Putin on nuclear weapons; nominate leftist Supreme Court justices; spend and borrow us into bankruptcy; destroy the world’s best health-care system; and raise our national debt far above the $6 trillion he’s already done in under four years (remember when he called George W. Bush “unpatriotic” for $4 trillion in eight years?).

Obama’s EPA will further ruin our economy by over regulation and shutting down the coal industry. Anyone is foolish to believe we can sustain this country on wind mills and solar panels — without coal.

The election results proved one thing: The split between left and right in this country is very deep, very serious and rather than ever being healed, will widen and deepen more and more in the very near future.

In my opinion, the anger in America is as profound as that felt by those who fought in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. We can rest assured that it will be increasing dramatically over the next couple of years.

Poor Stevie sounds like someone peed in the pool. Funny thing is this was the GOP's election to lose and they did (which is hilarious). On the bright side if all those "crazy" taxes and "oppressive" regulations (like the ones that keep our water and air clean) have got you down you can always move to Somalia. In fact I bet we can get enough donations for your airfare. Just think, you could be free of the heavy hand of government.

Great letter - I'm waiting for the Administration to realize this but i seriously doubt if that will happen!

Again with the buying votes bull. the conservatives unload the "giving gifts" excuse Romney came up with to cover his defeat, and the faithful swallow it with the blind gullibility that Republicans exhibit. Realize that George W. poisoned the well so thoroughly that he gave the White House to the Democrats for two terms. And, for the first time that I can remember, The Repubs distanced themselves from Bush so far they wouldn't even invite its two term president to the convention! Then on top of it all, Bill Clinton campaigned for the President, and helped! This is what President Rove and Vice-President Bush did to screw this country up. Blame the Republicans and their policies that put us where we are today.
