Thefts, Burglaries

WW County Sheriff

  • 6500 block of Lower Waitsburg Road, between Wednesday 4 p.m. and Thursday 2 p.m. More than $10,000 in tools and equipment taken from shop and home.


WW Police

  • Goodwill Thritf Store, 217 E. Alder Street, Thursday 5:36 p.m. Bomb threat was phoned in. Store closed early and evacuated.
  • Blue Mountain Heart to Heart, 520 Kelly Place, July-September. Unauthorized iPad account set up.


WW County Sheriff

  • Last Chance Road near Stovall Road, Thursday 7:05 a.m. Single vehicle rollover, no injuries to both occupants. Driver lost control due to ice and drove off rode, rolling vehicle one full turn.


WW Police

  • Brian Lamprea, 19, 502 S. Second Ave. Charge: investigation of second-degree assault and felony riot.
  • Christopher Lee Hanzlicek, 30, 812 Penrose St. Charge: investigation of taking vehicle without owner’s permission.
