Blue Devils drop MCC volleyball match to Hanford

WALLA WALLA — Wa-Hi’s woes through the Mid-Columbia Conference volleyball schedule continued on the Blue Devil court Tuesday night as Hanford won a three-set match.

The Falcons downed Wa-Hi 25-18, 25-16, 25-22.

Madi Doepker put up 14 digs and had eight kills for the Blue Devils.

Sierra Carman had 10 kills, Katie Greene dished out 12 assists, and

Reece Carman had four kills.

“It would be nice to have a win,” Wa-Hi assistant coach Kim McDaniels said. “Our serve receiving is kills us. There were a couple times they were able to get a run on serves on us, and we couldn’t stop them.”

The Blue Devils, now 0-9 in the MCC and 1-9 overall, host Pasco at 7 p.m. Thursday.
