NEW YORK — First, Darrelle Revis. Now, Santonio Holmes.
A person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press that Holmes has a Lisfranc injury in his left foot, likely leaving the New York Jets’ struggling offense without its top playmaker for the rest of the season.
That news comes just over a week after the team lost Revis, considered by many to be the NFL’s best cornerback, for what will likely be the season with a torn ligament in his left knee.
