BAKER, Ore. — Mac-Hi’s volleyball team dropped a Greater Oregon League match to Baker here Thursday, 25-18, 25-21, 25-17.
Megan Reed was 11-of-11 serving with five digs for the Pioneers.
Mackenzie Fite was 17-of-17 at the service line with three aces, and Brittany Kralman was 6-of-7.
Cheyenne Kessler had two kills and seven digs, Avery Wells also had two kills and five digs, and Jessica Dodd had three.
“The girls played well, they battled and fought hard,” Mac-Hi coach Kaila Rodighiero said. “They were eager to beat Baker.
“We applied the things we have worked on in practice to prepare for Baker, and now there are one or two things we will incorporate into practice to be even more ready next time,” she said. “The girls feel good about the game and so do I. It’s amazing to see their progress and drive to win.”
The Pioneers, 3-6 overall and 1-3 in GOL play, head to the Genesee Tournament Saturday.
