County commissioners to hear budget proposals
WALLA WALLA — The Walla Walla County commission will hear presentations on budget proposals each day this week. The presentations will be at the Walla Walla County Public Health and Legislative Building, 314 W. Main St.
Here’s a roundup of days and departments:
Monday, 1:30 p.m. — Court services and Juvenile Justice Center; 2 p.m. — treasurer.
Tuesday, 9 a.m. — Public Works Department.
Wednesday, 9 a.m. — Emergency management; 10:15 a.m. — prosecuting attorney; 1:30 p.m. — sheriff.
Thursday, 10 a.m. — District Court.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. — Superior Court; 9:15 a.m. — coroner.
Also Monday, a quorum of commissioners is expected during a discussion of the Law and Justice Fund. That discussion is set for 4 p.m. in the same space as the budget meetings.
