LAKE ROOSEVELT — Pomeroy’s cross country team competed at the Lake Roosevelt Invitational on Saturday.
Sophomore Stevie Fletcher was the top finisher for the Pirates in the boys’ 2.8-mile race with a time of 18 minutes, 12 seconds.
He was followed by freshman Tyler Maki, who finished 12th and a 18:33 time.
For the girls, Pomeroy freshman Emily Jents finished with a time of 26:1, which was good for 16th.
Teammate and fellow freshman Teresa Meyers finish 20th with a time of 27 minutes flat.
The Pirates next travel to Pasco on Saturday for the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguar Invite.
