Need for more space is grounds for coffee shop's new location

Coffee Cravings customers have a new location for their lattes and other favorite drinks.

The coffee business on Isaacs Avenue has jumped two lots east of its longtime location to a new 680-square-foot building.

The new larger building is similar in construction to Coffee Cravings’ other location at Poplar Street and 10th Avenue. It features dual drive-through lanes so that customers can be served on both sides of the building. Both properties are owned by Tri-Watts Properties and leased for the business.

Owner Susan Richard said in August the bigger space better accommodates the growing operation. Customers can enter from Isaacs Avenue as well as off the alley that connects from Blue Street.

The business employs about 14 people between the two locations. Hours of operation are 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
