TEKOA, Wash. — Pomeroy suffered a 25-21, 25-18, 25-16 Southeast 1B District volleyball loss to Tekoa-Oakesdale here Tuesday night.
Pomeroy saw its record slide to 1-3 in district play and 8-11 overall heading into a match today at LaCrosse-Washtucna.
“We had a chance in this match,” Pirates coach Bruce Crossfield said. “We led 20-17 in set one and were tied 17-all in set two. I saw some good things, and we need to keep building on them.”
Mackenzie Monahan and Savannah Ruark had seven kills each for Pomeroy, and Ruark added four blocks. Ireland Mayfield was 14-for-14 from the service line.
