Waitsburg School District board members are Ross Hamann, Christy House, Marilyn Johnson, Randy Pearson and Greg Zuger. With Zuger absent Wednesday, the board:
Reports: Heard reports from superintendent, principals, athletic director and facilities supervisor. Superintendent reported October enrollment is 11 FTE above budget.
ASB: Heard report from Preston Hall ASB.
Teacher/Principal Evaluation: Heard report on project for new teacher/principal evaluation system. Approved memorandum of understanding to begin pilot implementation project. Unanimous.
Contracts: Approved certified and classified contracts. Unanimous.
Facilities: Approved preliminary proposal from semi-pro football team to use Waitsburg football field for spring games. Unanimous. Superintendent will work with team to establish terms.
Staffing: Approved Tavis Crittenden as new head coach for Waitsburg-Prescott high school boys basketball. Unanimous.
