ONTARIO — Mac-Hi was blitzed in three sets Saturday night; losing 25-21, 25-19 and 25-17 against the Ontario Tigers in a Greater Oregon League match.
“I felt like we could have done better,” Mac-Hi coach Kaila Rodrighiero said. “Ontario wanted it more. It showed in their performance and intensity.”
Mac-Hi’s Megan Reed had three serving aces and was 14-for-16. Avery Wells was a perfect 14-for-14 with an ace and Cassidy Harris was nine-for-nine.
Wells was the team leader in kills with six and Reed added four while Jessica Dodd had three.
The Pioneers (1-5 GOL) host Baker Tuesday at 6 p.m.
