Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 600 block South Division Street. Guitar, skateboard and mp3 player from vehicle of Connor Bouta.
  • 1500 block Hobson Street. Lawnmower and miscellaneous items from garden shed and home of Joe Shaffer. Occurred sometime between Sept. 27 and Thursday.
  • 400 block Washington Street. Two knives from vehicle of Martin Herron.

WW County Sheriff

  • 300 block of West Eighth Street, Waitsburg, Friday overnight. Two DVD players and CDs taken from vehicle.
  • 200 block of West Sixth Street, Waitsburg. Friday overnight. Various camping and fishing items taken from storage shed.

MF Police

  • 400 block of South Main Street. Cans from recycling area.
  • 800 block of North Main Street. Bicycle belonging to Russell Tindol.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 200 block Highway 261, Dayton. Miscellaneous items from shop building.
  • Rainbow Lake Campground, 2311 Tucannon Road. Ice chest.

Assaults

WW Police

  • 300 block of Chase Avenue Saturday around 9 p.m. Woman called police to report a man pointed a gun at her while at the residence. According to officials, the woman had a restraining order against the man. When police arrived, they had the woman leave the residence, arrested the man and recovered one firearm. The woman was uninjured. Arrested was Rogelio Ortega Pio, 28, 314 Princess St.

  • Jackie Ray Franks Jr, 41, 1707 Bryant Ave. Charge: investigation of felony possession of legend drug.
  • Andres Solis, 20, 152 Doland St. Charge: investigation of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and felony riot.

CP Police

  • Joseph Dennis Cooper, 41, Las Vegas. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

WW County Sheriff

  • Jennifer Christine Martinez, 27, 2344 Old Milton Highway. Charge: Benton County felony warrant.

WSP

  • Rodolfo Perez, 41, 1216 Modoc St. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.

Vandalism

WW Police

  • 1000 block St. John Street. Rear window of vehicle broken out.

WW County Sheriff

  • Wallula Game Department Road, near Highway 12. Locks cut of gate to gain access .

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 400 block East Washington Avenue. Residence and vehicle egged. Occurred sometime Friday night.
