Meeting to focus on development of College Place high school identity

COLLEGE PLACE — Developing a high school identity will the the focus of a public work session being held Thursday by the College Place School Board.

The work session is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. in the district’s board room, 1755 S. College Ave., located above the Sager Middle School gym.

The board will be developing a vision for the district’s new public high school, which is slated for opening in 2015.

The board’s work session will be followed by its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in the same location. During the meeting, the board is expected to approve bills and payroll, and any new hires or resignations, as part of its consent agenda; and hear reports from the PTA, principal, and its Child Find effort.

Both meetings are open to the public.
