Blackbirds coffee and crumbs is brewing up plans for a day dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
On Thursday the business will serve free pink hot chocolate to customers at 515 N. Wilbur St.
A portion of the day’s proceeds will also be donated to Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center, said Kristen Grace, Blackbirds owner and a breast cancer survivor.
The business recently announced new early bird hours starting at 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. It closes at 4 p.m. those days. It also operates 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays. Those interested in learning about offered specials can text “BBird” to 55469. For more details on the business, call 876-2836.
