Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 1700 block of Portland Avenue. Pearl necklace reported stolen.
  • 400 block of East Oak Street. A 1995 Ford truck reported stolen: the owner later reported the vehicle had been returned to his driveway.

WW County Sheriff

  • 800 block of Preston Avenue, Waitsburg. Three Winchester, lever-action rifles reported stolen.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • Lost Springs Lane, Waitsburg. Generator reported stolen.
  • 100 block of East Richmond Avenue, Dayton. Trash can reported stolen.


WW Police

  • Christal J. Hendrix, 31, Chestnut Street, this morning. Charge: investigation of manufacturing or delivering methamphetamine.
  • William R. Jaeger, 20, 345 Chase Ave., this morning. Charge: investigation of useing or possessing a loaded firearm and driving under the influence.


WW Police

  • 200 block of North Clinton Street. Gang graffiti on phone box.

WW County Sheriff

  • Humorist Road overpass near Burbank. Gang graffiti.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • 100 block of Coates Creek Lane, Dayton. Window reportedly shot out.
  • Columbia County Courthouse, 341 E. Main St., Dayton. Graffiti carved into men’s bathroom wall.
