OLYMPIA — The process of sending out more than 3.85 million ballots has begun.
Secretary of State Sam Reed says that ballots started being mailed out by county elections offices on Wednesday.
Washington voters will be weighing in on races for president, governor, Congress, the state Supreme Court and Legislature as well as ballot measures concerning legalizing marijuana and same-sex marriage and authorizing charter schools.
Ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 6. They can also be dropped off at county ballot drop boxes.
