Mac-Hi picks up 2nd GOL victory, 3-0, over Ontario


MILTON-FREEWATER — Mac-Hi annihilated the visiting Ontario Tigers in three sets Saturday by scores of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-23.

Mac-Hi coach Kaila Rodighiero mentioned a couple of strong defenders on the team in the match.

“Cheyenne Kessler played real good back end defense for us today,” Rodighiero said. “Megan Reed played really smart on the net and helped us get some needed points.”

Serving for Mac-Hi was McKenzie Fite with a perfect 16-for-16 and Kessler who was 16-for-17.

Cassidy Harris and Jessica Dodd contributed three kills apiece.

Megan Reed had a team-high eight kills.

After beating Ontario for the second time in three chances on the season, Mac-Hi is now 2-6 in the Greater Oregon League.
