BURBANK — Bartoldo Bustos, 22, was arrested on investigation of second-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and violation of a protection order after allegedly abducting his 3-year-old daughter and assaulting his estranged wife.
According to a Walla Walla Sheriff’s Office report, Deputy Ian Edwards received a call from dispatch that the 3-year-old’s uncle was following Bustos in Burbank. When Edwards contacted the unnamed man, he had recovered his neice and Bustos had left the scene.
A short time later, dispatchers received a call from a resident on Humorist Road that a man matching Bustos’ description had pulled into her driveway and then sat down on her porch.
Edwards, a Pasco Police Officer and a federal agent arrested Bustos and held him for the Kennewick Police Department.
