A hair show at the Beehive Cut and Color Bar will be a fundraiser with style.
The downtown Walla Walla salon will showcase the season’s cut and color trends with a runway hair show Tuesday. The free event also includes a champagne blowout, hors d’oeuvres, live music by Shanks Pony and a fundraiser sale, said owner Kate McCaw.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the event at 126 E. Main St. The show starts at 8 p.m. and will feature “everything from wearable pretty hair to edgy punk princess looks,” McCaw said. The musical performance will follow.
Dubbed “Imagine.Beehive,” the event will also feature sales of shirts, raffle tickets, gift certificates and Bumble and bumble products. Proceeds will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul of Walla Walla for food and gift baskets the organization supplies to local families. Those who can’t make the event will be able to purchase T-shirts throughout the rest of the year. Money from sales will continue to be donated to St. Vincent. For more details call 525-2201.
