COLLEGE PLACE — A lecture entitled “Business Ethics and the Bible” will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Walla Walla University in the lecture hall at Chan Shun Pavilion, Room 154.
Kennet D. Walters, a professor of business administration, will speak. He is active in research, writing, lecturing and consulting, according to a news release.
Walters will talk about whether the term “business ethics” is an oxymoron; if capitalism is moral, and whether socialism is more consistent than capitalism with Christianity. There will be a question-and-answer and discussion period after Walters’ presentation.
Walters is a Pacific Northwest native who lives in Bellevue, wash.
