ASTORIA, Ore. — An argument between fishermen and loggers at an Astoria tavern turned into a street brawl.
Police responded to Annies Uppertown Tavern Saturday night on a report of at least 20 people fighting in the street.
The dispute began with a bachelor party in the bar for a group of loggers. They argued with fishermen about which occupation was better and paid more.
The bartender told them to take it outside, so they did. No one was arrested because of what police called “mutual combat.”
