Today while shopping at Walmart I left my purse in the shopping cart after taking my purchase. I did not miss it until I got to another store.
I hurried to my car and broke the speed limit getting back to Walmart, where I asked a customer service lady if someone turned it in. She unlocked a door, held a purse up and asked if it was mine — which it was.
She said an outside stockman had turned it in. Whoopee, all my credit cards and money were intact.
So, you see, there’s honest people out there yet.
