Ten teams compete at Milton-Freewater Municipal's PEG Cross Country Scramble

MILTON-FREEWATER — The four-some of Abe Currin, Ben Curin, Matt Chesnut and Carl Wheeler topped the field at the PEG Cross Country Scramble at Milton-Freewater Municipal Golf Course Saturday, carding a 54.

There were 10 teams in the tournament, which benefitted the Pat Gillette Memorial Scholarship Fund.

M-F Municipal is closed today for aerification. Call George Gillette, 541-938-7284, for course availability beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

NET — 1, Eric Waller-Mariah Waller-Pat Gillette-Will Christiansen 45; 2, Sean Moon-Tyson Poe-Pat Grimm-Jeff Fite 49.
