The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce is offering a free government contracting workshop designed for businesses interested in working with government entities.
The Sept. 19 workshop is a two-hour event at the Chamber of Commerce office, 29 E. Sumach St.
The 9 a.m. session offers a comprehensive overview of how to do business with local, state and federal government agencies, according to the announcement. It is offered in partnership with the Procurement Technical Assistance Center, which offers continuous support to help with the contracting process.
On the session’s agenda: small-business programs and certifications, types of solicitations, marketing strategies, responding to opportunities and laws and regulations.
