MILTON-FREEWATER – Two, unidentified victims were transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center this morning with gunshot wounds following what appears to have been a drive-by shooting at roughly 1:30 a.m. in Milton-Freewater

The shooting took place on in the 800 block of North Elizabeth Street according to city officials, and may have involved two vehicles.

“It’s an ongoing investigation” said Linda Hall, the Milton-Freewater city manager, adding the investigation is being handled by the Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office.

“They’re the ones heading the investigation,” Hall said.

County officials did not return telephone calls as of press time this morning.

The incident is the second shooting in the Valley in less than a week, following gunplay in Walla Walla that injured three people.

The Walla Walla shooting took place in the 1100 block of West Cherry Street at roughly 11:30 p.m., Thursday when someone fired six shots from a vehicle. Two men and one woman, all in their early 20’s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not released any new information related to the shooting.

I feel like I actually lost knowledge by reading this article. Why do all other news sources have more information than the UB?
