If you’re wondering what to wear to the Victorian Ball this Saturday in honor of Walla Walla’s Sesquicentennial, and you don’t have any “Vintage” clothes, any formal wear will do for men, including a tux, and any gown or fancy dress will do for women.
Come out and celebrate Walla Walla’s 150th at our community’s birthday ball from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Walla Walla Armory, featuring a Civil War era band and a dancing master to walk you through the dances before they begin.
If you don’t have a partner, that’s not a problem. The ball is meant to be a mixer, and you’ll end up dancing with everyone and having a good time with all.
For more information, or to buy tickets, please call or stop by the Kirkman House Museum or go to kirkmanhousemuseum.org. You can get tickets at the door but they prefer pre-sales for planning purposes.
