Amber N. Manning, 22, 330 S. First Ave., was charged Sept. 17 with second-degree theft and with forgery. Manning is accused of wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over $905 in cash belonging to Backstage Bistro; and falsely making, completing, altering, possessing, uttering, offering, disposing of or putting off as true a forged check for $905 belonging to Backstage Bistro on Sept. 6.

Benjamin Garcia Jr., 33, 719 N. Eighth Ave., was charged Sept. 17 with second-degree possessing stolen property and two counts of third-degree theft. Garcia is accused of knowingly receiving, possessing, retaining, concealing or disposing of a stolen Visa card; and wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property or services belonging to two businesses in Walla Walla on Aug. 17.

Kelsey Maria Cavazos, 19, Finley, Wash., was charged Sept. 17 with second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Cavazos is accused of unlawfully entering or remaining in a building with the intent to commit a crime, wrongfully obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over miscellaneous items, and unlawfully possessing a stolen pickup on Sept. 14.

Michael E. Williams, 33, 728 N. Roosevelt St., was charged Sept. 17 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Williams is accused of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 7.COURT REPORT
