Theft and vandalism reports were filed Wednesday and today unless otherwise noted.

Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

  • 600 block of West Birch Street. A 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser reported stolen.
  • Marcus House, 210 Marcus St. Bicycle reported stolen.
  • 300 block of Juniper Street. Vehicle prowl reported: nothing reported stolen.

WW County Sheriff

  • 400 block of East Sunset Drive, Burbank. Yard cart reported stolen.
  • 1000 block of Fishook Park Road. Backpack containing food, clothing, contact lenses and a flute reported stolen.


WW County Sheriff

Millrace Road at railroad crossing. A motorist reported he lost control of his vehicle when his flip-flop sandal wedged between the gas and brake pedals: no injuries reported.

Columbia County Sheriff

  • Main and First streets, 4:29 p.m., Wednesday. Rear-end collision: a 74-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were taken to Dayton General Hospital.

Fire, Ambulance runs

CP Fire Dept.

  • Lyons City Park, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday. Old dog rescued from the park pond.


WW County Sheriff

  • 100 block of East Humorist Road. Rock thrown through vehicle windshield.
